On September 30, nearly 150 employees, senior leaders, and guests gathered to celebrate Endeavor’s ‘Elite,’ recognizing those individuals and teams who have helped to elevate the airline over the past two years.
With a backdrop of scenic fall colors, the event was held at Bavaria Downs in Chaska, Minn., and marked the first in-person celebration of our people in more than a year. The Endeavor’s Elite Annual Employee Awards recognizes employees who excel in five categories: Safety, Operations, Customer Service, Teamwork, and Endeavor’s Elite Champions.
After our 2020 event was postponed due to the pandemic, honorees from 2020 as well as 2021 were recognized at this celebration. In total, 36 individuals and three teams were honored for delivering excellence and elevating Endeavor’s operation.

“Each of you being recognized tonight are leaders in the truest form,” said Jim Graham, CEO, in his remarks at the event. “You demonstrate determination and integrity in your work, and you have created a culture of excellence at our airline. You prove every day that Endeavor is ‘resilient and ready,’ and I am so proud to be on your team.”
Honorees and guests were greeted by cheers and applause from senior leaders as they arrived at the venue. Following a social hour, attendees moved to a ballroom for dinner and the awards presentation, which kicked off with a recorded video message from Ed Bastian, CEO, Delta Air Lines.
“Tonight’s celebration has been a long time coming,” said Bastian. “We rely on Endeavor to get the job done, and you continually rise to the challenge.”
“Together we’ve led the industry in providing a safe travel experience for our customers, and your professionalism and warm customer service has made a real difference — as we like to call, a ‘Delta Difference,’” continued Bastian.
