The 2nd Annual MSP C Campus Day of Hope, held on June 12, raised more than $31,000 for the American Cancer Society.
In partnership with Delta and Compass Airlines, the Day of Hope featured a Relay for Life event, vendors, food, raffles, and special activities aimed at raising funds and hope for a cure. The Day of Hope gave employees the opportunity to celebrate survivors, encourage those currently fighting cancer, and remember loved ones who lost the battle.
Back by popular demand, more than 16 teams participated in this year’s Bus Pull event, including teams from Salt Lake City and the Iron Range. Three Endeavor teams competed, each winning first place in their respective categories. In total, the Bus Pull raised more than $15,000.
“Each of us has been touched by cancer in some way,” said Chris Marx, MSP Base Admin and Day of Hope Committee Member. “The Day of Hope is a great opportunity to unite employees across the different airlines, across the MSP campus, and even across the country — all with the goal of raising awareness and supporting the fight for a cure.”
