Pulling for a Cure: Endeavor, MSP Airlines Team Up in Fight Against Cancer

Whether as a family member, friend, caregiver, or survivor, few have escaped the touch of cancer in their lives.

That’s why Endeavor Air is partnering with Delta and Compass Airlines this year for the 1st Annual Day of Hope on the MSP C Campus — A day of raising funds, awareness, and hope for a cure.

The Day of Hope will take place on June 6, featuring a Relay for Life event, music, vendors, a BBQ, raffles, and special activities. All proceeds and donations will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The Day of Hope will also feature a Bus Pull event, where teams of 10 can test their strength by pulling a Delta Employee Bus to compete for the fastest time, team spirit, and even best costume. Cost is $35 per person to participate, or $350 per team. Funds raised beyond the required entrance amount can be used to put ‘extra weight’ on the bus for competitors.

“We’ve all been affected by cancer; it’s something we have got to band around and ultimately finish the fight against,” said Bill Lentsch in a video message to employees. “Let’s raise some money to get out and beat this nasty disease.”
