Endeavor was proud to be part of Bert’s Big Adventure (BBA) 2022! Each year, BBA provides an all-expenses-paid trip to Walt Disney World for children with chronic or terminal illness and their families. Since 2018, Endeavor has served as the official airline partner of BBA, operating the flights from Atlanta to Orlando and back with these very special “customers” on board. Due to safety precautions, this year’s BBA event was smaller and the families left from a gate at the ATL airport rather than the hangar, eliminating the need for Family Sponsors.

Peggy Wiley, Director of ATL Hub Operations, took the lead on the Endeavor flight operations from start to finish.
“We started planning for this event towards the end of January, when we were notified that Molly and team were looking at hosting the BBA Trip this year. The ATL team was all in with making this event very special for the kids. We outlined a plan, met weekly and we were ready in 2 months. It was a great team effort between the Endeavor and Delta teams,” Peggy said.
Although this year’s trip looked a little different from year’s past, we were proud to fly seven critically-ill children and their families to their magical adventure on March 24, and back home to Atlanta on March 28.

“We had to plan this event set-up differently from previous years due to the extra safety precautions for the BBA Families and it turned out wonderful,” Peggy said. “From the decorations, the airport community support, the Endeavor Air and Delta team support and having our very own Spencer Dulac being our DJ, the atmosphere was full of excitement. It was incredible and such an honor to be a part of!”
“I cannot express my appreciation enough to everyone who helped and supported this event. It is all about the BBA kids and their families and I believe we helped with making this a magical send-off to the ‘Happiest Place on Earth,'” Peggy said.
Thank you to all the Endeavor employees, including our crew members who operated the flights, for making BBA 2022 a special experience for our VIP passengers.
