As Super Bowl fans flocked to the “Bold North”, Endeavor’s recruitment teams launched their own super event – an Open House Road Show that saw all recruiting, interviewing, and hiring operations relocated for the week to Atlanta to facilitate interviews and events.
With rising hotel and travel costs in Minneapolis due to the big game, moving the recruitment efforts gave the teams a change of scenery and enabled them to maintain momentum in conducting interviews and moving applicants through the hiring process. It also gave them the opportunity to hold special events to attract and foster qualified candidates.
On January 30, the teams held a joint careers open house at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel, bringing in nearly 200 candidates for pilot, flight attendant, and technician positions. The Inflight Recruitment Team held two invite-only hiring events for local candidates, while the Flight Ops Team had 54 pilot interviews scheduled, and the Tech Ops recruiters interviewed 20 candidates over the course of the week. In total, the team extended job offers to more than 75 highly qualified candidates.
Endeavor also hosted a special event at the Delta Flight Museum on February 2. The event brought together CJO-holders from STEP schools, Pilot Recruitment Brand Ambassadors, instructors and stakeholders at local maintenance schools, Endeavor alumni, and company leadership for a day of networking and sharing what makes Endeavor great.
“Our week in Atlanta enabled us to interact with hundreds of candidates and continue to create brand awareness,” said Andy La Susa, Manager of Talent Acquisition – Outreach. “From candidates who were just hearing about Endeavor, to CJO-holders who are preparing for training, this week helped us build and foster relationships, which will ultimately help our company grow stronger.”
