More than a dozen individuals and two teams from Endeavor Air were honored Thursday night for their role in helping the airline soar.
Held at the historic Van Dusen Mansion in downtown Minneapolis, the first annual Endeavor’s Elite Awards Program brought together employees who were nominated by their peers for delivering excellence in four categories – Safety, Operations, Customer Service, and Teamwork. Another category – called Endeavor’s Elite Champions – recognized employees who embody competence, consistency, and excellence in their jobs.
“More than 150 employees and teams were nominated for these Endeavor Elite awards,” noted Jodie Douglas, Vice President, Human Resources, during the event. “A committee comprised of employees from all divisions were responsible for reviewing and selecting the honorees you’ve met here tonight. The selection process was incredibly competitive.”
Ultimately, four honorees were selected for the Operations Excellence, Customer Service Excellence, and Elite Champion categories; three honorees were awarded the Safety Excellence recognition; and two groups were honored for Teamwork Excellence. Each category showcased a video featuring the employee who nominated the winners and why they felt each individual or team was elite. (You can watch each video below)
All honorees, their spouses, and senior leaders were treated to a celebratory dinner and event. The honorees walked away with a beautiful crystal trophy and lump sum of Endeavor’s Elite points, which employees can cash in for a wide range of items.
“This has been an incredible evening to learn about each of you,” said Joe Miller. “These honorees are leaders in the truest form. They’re all focused on the mission and determined to elevate Endeavor to levels never achieved before. They are selfless and humble team members that are determined to maintain Endeavor’s place as the ‘gold standard’ of the regional airline industry.”
