This message comes from Bill Donohue, Vice President, Technical Operations, Endeavor Air:
Today is a special day for our industry and our company.
Wednesday May 24th is national AMT Day. It is the birthday of Charles E. Taylor who was the mechanic on the Wright brothers first aircraft and built by hand, the engine used on the Wright Brothers flyer. Charles E. Taylor is widely recognized as the “Father of Aircraft Maintenance”.
At Endeavor Air we will honor this day with celebrations in all of our maintenance bases. We also want to take this opportunity to say Thank You to all the professional men and women that work hard every day to ensure that our fleet is maintained according to the highest standards.
Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week our skilled technicians, Inspectors and repairmen work through all types of weather to ensure that our customers and crew have a safe and reliable aircraft. Thank you for all that you do!
Please join me in thanking our Technicians, Inspectors and Repairmen for their dedication and commitment to their craft.
