It was standing room only – literally – for Endeavor Air’s latest class of new hires as they took part in the airline’s Integrated Onboarding Program Monday morning. As new hires from nearly every department in the company wedged into a training classroom in Minneapolis, members of senior leadership team posted up along the walls to welcome Endeavor’s more than 70 newest employees.
Among the ranks attending this onboarding class were 24 Pilots, 12 Flight Attendants, 20 Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and 10 Stores personnel. Of the new hires that were in attendance, 20 will be supporting the launch of Endeavor’s new Atlanta crew and maintenance base, scheduled to open June 1.
“This is just the first of many introductions to our culture and who we are as an airline,” noted John Daly, Chief Operating Officer. “To see our growth first hand is exciting, and many of us (on the senior leadership team) just wanted to be here to welcome you and thank you for choosing the fly at Endeavor.”
The Integrating Onboarding Program brings new hires from all disciplines at Endeavor together for the first day of training, covering a wide range of topics – Company History, Safety, Workplace Culture, Training Expectations, and Human Resources and Benefits Review.
