Endeavor’s Flight Attendant hiring process is very competitive; however, you can take simple steps to ensure you stand out as a strong candidate at every step of the way.
Here are 6 tips to guide you throughout the hiring process—and to help your career take flight.
1. Proofread.
Your resume and application offer recruiters their first impression of your professionalism and attention to detail. Be sure to read your resume and application carefully before submitting to ensure they are free from typos and errors.
2. Ensure your resume and application are complete.
Include relevant work and skills that reflect your customer service experience. For your work history, include the month and year each employment began and ended. A gap in your work history may be a red flag to recruiters – Be sure to explain any gaps in your application.
3. Read and follow directions.
If invited to complete a Spark Hire video interview, read all instructions carefully. Complete your video in a space free of distractions, against a blank background, and ensure you follow all directions. Your ability to adhere to instructions will reflect on your professionalism and preparedness for the role.
4. Take the practice video.
Spark Hire allows you to take a practice video. Take advantage of the practice video to ensure your sound is working properly, you look and sound professional, and that you are speaking clearly and coherently. If you can’t hear or understand yourself, the recruiter won’t be able to either.
5. Be honest.
On your application as well as your phone screen, be honest and transparent in your answers. Not doing so may disqualify you from employment.
6. Dress for success.
A polished, professional appearance is an important part of being a flight attendant. Throughout the hiring process, be sure your appearance reflects your professionalism and readiness for the role. Your Spark Hire experience is a job interview, and you should dress accordingly. If invited to a hiring event, you should dress in professional interview attire.
