Flight Attendant Welcomes Son Home from Deployment, Thanking Endeavor Leadership for Support

Endeavor Air is proud to foster a culture where employees are treated like family, and where family comes first. Endeavor Flight Attendant Kim Powell – whose son is in the U.S. Air Force – knows this firsthand.

Kim’s son, Staff Sergeant Matthew Powell, was deployed to Abu Dhabi in July. Thanks to the support of her Base Manager and the Inflight Team, Kim was able to see her son and send him off. After four long months of deployment, Kim’s son returned to U.S. soil on November 17, and again, with the help and support of Kim’s Endeavor Family, the grateful mother traveled to Oklahoma City to welcome her son home.

“Flying for Endeavor allowed me to be here to see my son and be with him,” said Kim, whose son has been in the Air Force for seven years. “I love my job and the people and company I work for. I’m proud to say #IFLYEDV!”

Welcome home, Staff Sgt. Powell, and thank you for your service!
