FO Stephanie Arcamuzi welcomes an aspiring aviator aboard an Endeavor Air CRJ-900 at Girls In Aviation Day 2016 in St. Paul
Girls in Aviation Day, an annual initiative of Women in Aviation International, is celebrated at events around the world, each aimed at inspiring girls to explore a future career in the aviation and aerospace industry.
This year, Endeavor recruiters flew in to St. Paul’s Holman Airport on a newly-refurbished CRJ-900, and hundreds of young aviators and enthusiasts alike stepped onboard to check out the cabin and cockpit. Meanwhile, other members of the Pilot Outreach team welcomed aspiring aviators at the Girls in Aviation Day event at Purdue University.
“Girls in Aviation Day inspires girls and gives them the confidence they need to pursue their dreams,” said FO Stephanie Arcamuzi. “I was in their shoes once, too, and I’m proud to be able to help encourage young women to explore the possibility of a future aviation career.”
