Bringing Magic to Flight: Endeavor Air Supports Bert’s Big Adventure

Magic took flight on Thursday, February 19, as Endeavor Air once again proudly partnered with Bert’s Big Adventure (BBA) to help create unforgettable memories for children facing chronic and terminal illnesses. Thanks to this long‑standing partnership, 12 incredible kids and their families embarked on a once‑in‑a‑lifetime journey to Walt Disney World.

This year, Endeavor employees from across the company volunteered as Family Sponsors, greeting the families at the airport, guiding them through the pre‑boarding process, and ensuring their sendoff was as seamless and joyful as possible.

“As a team, Endeavor loves being a part of Bert’s Big Adventure because we want to give back and be involved in our community,” Peggy Wiley said, Director, Atlanta Hub Operations at Endeavor Air, who leads the charge for the Endeavor team each year. “Knowing that the time, energy and care we put into this experience creates lifelong memories for these families and everyone involved, is more than we could ask for.”

Escorted by Endeavor volunteers—along with a few surprise appearances from beloved Disney characters—the families made their way to the gate through a tunnel of cheers, high‑fives, and even a few inflatable lightsabers. The energy was electric, creating a heartfelt celebration filled with excitement, encouragement, and love.

“The joy on the kid’s faces, reminds us how meaningful this event is, and we are truly grateful to be a part of their adventure,” Peggy said.

Founded in 2002 by Bert Weiss, former host of The Bert Show, Bert’s Big Adventure provides an all‑expenses‑paid Disney experience for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Endeavor Air is honored to support this mission and help bring a little extra magic to their journey.
