One of the best perks of working for Endeavor Air is the ability to use your flight benefits. With free and reduced-rate travel privileges, Endeavor employees have the world at their fingertips. With Delta’s vast network, our employees can easily explore new cities and create lasting memories – whether that is a week-long trip to Italy or a spontaneous day trip to Boston. If there is limited time, spontaneous day trips are a fun way to dip your toes into new cultures and cuisine.
Here are some day trip experiences from the Endeavor HR team!
BOSTON, MA – MICHAEL ZARBOCK

“A few of my favorite day adventures have been to Austin, TX, New York City, NY, Raleigh-Durham, NC, and Boston, MA. For the Boston trip, we took an Uber to the North End. We started with oysters and a lobster roll from Neptune Oyster. Then we headed over to Caffe Vittoria for Espresso Martinis and finished with a few cannoli at Mike’s Pastry. In this area, you can also see Paul Revere’s house and Old North Church – where Revere hung the lanterns to warn the British were coming.”
LAS VEGAS, NV – DANETTE SMITH

“I was dropping some friends off at the MSP airport early in the morning so at the last minute I decided to hop a wide open flight to Las Vegas (LAS) for the day. I don’t gamble, but I know the Bellagio always has a beautiful holiday display so I picked that as my touristy “goal spot” for the day. Additionally, the Fountains of Bellagio have shows every 30 minutes so that’s always a fun free event as well. Any other unique sights and people watching was just be a bonus. Between lunch and the bus charges I only spent under $50 that day.”
SEATTLE, WA – HEATHER PEDERSEN

“For a quick day trip, I went to downtown Seattle. I took the Light Rail, walked 5 blocks to Pike Place Market and got in line at the original Starbucks store for my morning caffeine (probably round 2 or 3 at this point!) I grabbed a pastry at Piroshky Bakery, and shopped for fresh seafood. I did some grocery shopping – everything from produce to fresh seafood to cheese to pasta is available. After exploring the market and Pier, I took a ferry to Bainbridge Island.
MILWAUKEE, WI – LESLY BARRIE

“We chose Milwaukee for its Christmas Market and River Walk. The market was small, so we explored the Milwaukee Public Market, followed by a brewery tour at the historic Pabst Brewery. You can also visit the Harley Davidson Museum and Milwaukee Art Museum.”
