Celebrating Endeavor’s First Class Flight Attendant Honorees

When it comes to customer service, Endeavor flight attendants are some of the best in the business.

This summer alone, for the fifth month in a row, our flight attendants surpassed Endeavor’s target goals for Flight Attendant Interaction scores, the measure by which Delta customers rate their experience with the onboard crew. In fact, in June, Endeavor flight attendants collectively set a new record for performance in this category, excluding years impacted by COVID.

Also setting records are the 17 Endeavor flight attendants who were personally recognized earlier this year for their achievements in customer service.

Referred to as the First Class Flight Attendant program, this exclusive recognition program celebrates those flight attendants whose accomplishments have risen to the top among their peers in each crew base. In fact, honorees represent the top 1% of flight attendants in each base who have earned the highest count of perfect Flight Attendant Interaction scores over the course of a year.

Anyone who has flown a Delta flight and taken the time to complete the post-flight satisfaction survey that gets sent to them will recognize how special it is to receive a perfect score.

Among general questions about the travel journey and how likely they are to recommend Delta to others, customers are asked to rate their interaction with the flight attendants on a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being excellent.

Through their customer service and warm, friendly demeanor, flight attendants can aim to achieve a coveted 5 (or ‘strive for 5,’ as the saying goes in the Inflight department), and the First Class Flight Attendant honorees have done just that.

This year, the 17 honorees were invited to a special reception in their honor with members of the Inflight leadership and Executive leadership teams. Hosted at the InterContinental Hotel at MSP Airport, the reception included a brunch, awards ceremony, and photo shoot for honorees, whose pictures will be hung in their crew rooms for the next year to showcase their achievements.
